Yesterday's fog did burn off and surfers were getting nice rides on sometimes head-high waves. Today will be the same with low tide an hour later (noon thirty). I'm sore from 3 hrs paddling but may make it to the beach again after my chores.Bring sunblock (seriously) if you go to the beach today. The sand bars are more developed at Newcomb Hollow beach about 2 miles north of Maguire's Landing. More surfers are there but there is a lot of room for everyone.
