A few photos before hitting the surf last night show the size and quality of the typical sets for this session. The 20 or so people in the water cleared out at sunset and left 5 of us to choose the best of the sets. Surfing into and past sunset on large waves thrills me.A former student from Sturgis headed out into the surf just as I arrived in the parking lot. We got some nice rides among the regular local surfers. Having friends in the line up makes surfing so much nicer.
