Lots of erosion and debris on the beach.
A shipwreck has been exposed on Newcomb's Hollow beach 100 yards south of the parking lot. The dunes are both eroding into the sea and being blown back into higher piles landward. Houses along the dunes are being buried and undermined at the same time.
We live in a changing environment which follows its own plans according to the rules of physics at a pace determined by the energy available.
