The wind switched to the west (offshore) and really cleaned up the surf.  This shot was taken at high tide which is not the best for surfing.  But there were people playing and strolling along the beach and enjoying the day.
A kite boarder took great advantage of the winds on the harbor side.  Some of the small boats moored in the shallow water along the clam grants got swamped in the choppy waves .
