Newcomb's Hollow in Wellfleet after the storm
Today started with the winding down of the storm that blew through here overnight. As would be expected, the waves were disorganized and choppy. Around noon, however, the wind shifted more to the west and cleared up the surf. Many experienced surfers enjoyed 6 to 9 ft waves throughout the afternoon. This photo was taken at 4:15 after the strong north wind broke up the surf.
