Waist high waves and a brilliant sunrise make for another great day on the beach in Wellfleet. The beaches were filled up by lunch time yesterday so if you want to get a parking spot, show up early or have someone drop you off. Yesterday's waves were good at Marconi Beach. I walked north quite a distance and was rewarded with a break all to myself. Several sets were head high or more. I am so thankful for the professional instruction over the winter at Witch's Rock Surf Camp.

Sunrise at Maguire's Landing, Wellfleet
Waist high waves and a brilliant sunrise make for another great day on the beach in Wellfleet. The beaches were filled up by lunch time yesterday so if you want to get a parking spot, show up early or have someone drop you off. Yesterday's waves were good at Marconi Beach. I walked north quite a distance and was rewarded with a break all to myself. Several sets were head high or more.
